Site and Submission Information

Many thanks go to the people over at www.jonesborough.net who have provided some assistance in setting up this website so quickly.  We have been given permission to repost their article here.  They are recommending that travelers avoid the Exit 23.

We need your picture submissions of where the favorite hiding spots of the camera operator is located.  Contact us with any information you think is important. If you have a picture or other file to upload, we will provide information on where to upload via the contact form.   Any identifying information of submitted material will be removed before publishing.

We do not want and will not publish pictures of the officers or any identifying information about them, as they are only doing their job and don’t want to single them out. The Town of Mosheim officials and the police chief are the people that should be held responsible and complained to.  Visit https://www.mosheim.net/ for their contact information.

We urge you to contact your state senator and representative to investigate the legality of this loophole in the law and take action to address it.  There appears to be nothing in the TCA that refers to “manned” speed cameras and the camera company and agencies are treating these “manned” cameras the same as “unmanned” cameras when it comes to the processing and collection of “fines”.  There are going to be many more police departments that will be installing these “manned” speed cameras in the coming months as the revenue stream seems enormous to them.  Lets try to make it an unprofitable venture for them and the camera company.
